About UsOur CompanySystemToSell is a new concept and a new company — founded in 2010 by Steve Nicholas. Steve comes from a very diverse background — all of which has been in design and construction fields. SystemToSell is the next chapter of his life and he brings all his 25 years of design, creativity, construction knowledge, energy, and business acumen to this exciting new concept that helps homeowners unlock the money potential in their homes. Our Founder From the beginning, Steve has been a hands-on individual. He framed condos, installed landscaping, and painted homes to earn money so that he could study Architecture at The Ohio State University (OSU). During one summer, Steve and his brother, attended the Owner Builder School in Berkeley, CA where they experienced hands-on learning for every trade in the home building process. The entire summer resulted in a completely built home as a testament to their accomplishments. After OSU, he worked for eight years in architectural offices in Philadelphia, Dayton, and Cincinnati as a project architect working on many senior independent and assisted living, office, and hotel projects. Over the last 15 years he has worked as project manager and Vice President of construction for general contractors, a real estate developer, and a nursing home chain. He held a General Contractors license and was in charge of the design and development of the very successful Athenian Village campus — a 30 acre continuing care retirement community in Cleveland. Steve has personally remodeled many houses and knows what it takes to gut, renovate, and finish a house to make a profit. But most importantly, he learned what features in a house motivate people to buy. That is the skill that makes SystemToSell different from a handyman company. Today, Steve lives in Hudson with his wife and two children. Has been married for 24 years. He is especially proud of his children who are excellent students and have, as he puts it "good hearts".
